Who gets your vote of no confidence - those that are making life difficult for Australians. Why would you vote for someone who's hurting you? The Australian Government's "Infringement Mania" and "Revenue Raising" strategies are beginning to backfire on them. By punishing the Australian people and causing us personal and financial loss because we broke some stupid, idiotic, impractical, antisocial, dumb law that we weren't even told about, stinks of intimidation, bullying and covert revenue raising. Taking from us the things that we need to keep our loved ones safe and/or earn a living e.g. our driver's license and using us as "cash cows", has resulted in resentment towards the Government's Dumb Law makers, the Government's agencies, Local Councils and those enforcing the dumb laws. As a result of this those responsible will continue to become increasingly unpopular in the communities that they are hurting. Naturally they will punished by those voters at the next elections or sooner. In Australia's colourful past a "Cockatoo Lookout" would be set up to warn bushrangers or people playing a two-up game if the Police were on the way. This colloquialism comes from the Australian Cockatoo's characteristic of posting lookouts to screech warnings to the other birds in the flock. Today however, this Cockatoo Lookout is for warning Australians about "Governmental Bushrangers" of all types. Their disguises and strategies and ways we can help each other not to be ripped off by their bullshit. When you find Politicians and Public Servants that are giving you a fair go be a "Cockatoo Lookout" and spread the good word about them and remember them at the next election. I acknowledge there are many "Bushrangers" in the private sector too. But they're not accountable to the Australian people the way our Government and public servants are. If a private business does the wrong thing by us we can do something about it straight away. e.g. Stop dealing with them, go somewhere else and/or spread the word about their bad operations. But when you find a good operator be a "Cockatoo Lookout" and tell your family, friends and other people about them and spread the word about their good operations.
Our Police force is the meat in the sandwich between the Politicians and the Australian People. Our Police are trained in law enforcement, but they are being told how to enforce the law by Politicians who do not have their special training. It's difficult to explain to someone who's been fined a significant amount of their income and maybe even lost their driving license, that the Police are just doing their job. A job where they may be enforcing a law that they may not see the common sense of - just like you and I. The sad thing is that they are becoming unpopular for doing this. Because Australians are seeing themselves targeted by the Police and made to feel like criminals. Whilst the real criminals go free. Or in some insane delusionary distortions of justice, actually get financial compensation whilst the victim is penalised. Fair Dinkum, in a country where the saying "sometimes the Law is an Ass" is fastly becoming "most times the Law is an Ass". I wouldn't be surprised if Australia in this particular subject is at times the laughing stock of the world. DID YOU KNOW that Judges in Australia are appointed by the Government of the day, without consulting the Australian voters. The Government of the day of course, is elected by Australian voters. You see, if we want a fair go in Australia we have to vote for those Politicians who's record proves they believe in and work for a fair go for all Australians.
The Police have always been helpful and pleasant to me, even when they've been booking me after catching me in one of the many Governmentally inspired revenue raising speed traps. In NSW we have some Police stations that cannot operate on a 24 hour basis due to the number of Police personnel being reduced. This antisocial act of the N.S.W. Labor Government has resulted in an increase in crime and vandalism.
Example of Antisocial Behaviour: I acknowledge that you may have had a bad experience with our Police force. But for me they still have my respect and I hope they will come through for the Australian people. The Police need our help in fighting and reducing crime and making our communities safer for everyone.
We are always encouraged by the Police to report any crime or anything suspicious and out of the ordinary no matter how insignificant it may seem. Australia is a Democracy and our Government and Politicians are accountable to us. Politicians are our elected representatives that we voted for to run our country on our behalf. They are our servants - NOT the other way around. So next time you or someone you know has had your privacy violated, been injured, suffered personal or financial loss, had your dreams and plans interfered with or squashed because of:
1. Some idiotic, impractical dumb law. Remember who's responsible when it comes time to vote again. Spread the word about them and be a "Cockatoo Lookout" and warn your family, friends and other people. Tell anyone that will listen. The Newspapers, your local Members for Parliament, talkback radio stations, the Police. Basically anyway that will show the public how they're being misrepresented. Why would you vote for someone who's making life difficult for you? Remember the spotlight... turn it around and put it back on the Government - our Politicians and Public Servants. Are they giving you value for money? Are they accountable and transparent? Do they solve problems in your community? Is there someone else that would do a better job? I agree it doesn't seem to make much difference who gets into power from one election to another. Instead of asking us what we want for our country our Politicians seem too busy telling us what they're going to do for us. Australians still talk about the same things that hurt them year after year, regardless of which Government is in power. From what I see of it some of our Politicians by their actions do care about Australia and it's people and want what's best for us. Remember them when it comes time to vote again. Be a "Cockatoo Lookout" and tell everyone about the good Politicians that you find. We need them and they need us. Why wouldn't you vote for them? The ones who are corrupt or go on with anti-Australian and antisocial crap can do some damage to our way of life if we let them. But REMEMBER Australia is a Democracy and our Politicians are our elected representatives that we vote for to run our country on our behalf. They are our servants - NOT the other way around. WARNING TO OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES: To avoid the inconvenience of being voted out of office and in the interests of all Australian Voters, you are urged to improve your Political representation and adhere to the provisions of the Democratic process. In other words stop ripping us off and using us as "cash cows". Give us a fair go, keep the violent criminals out of the community, get out of our backyards and stop telling us how to live our lives and finally, listen to us.
If you are sincere about governing Australia on behalf of the Australian People, working for the common good and building a strong and vibrant nation that both Public Servants and Politicians are honoured to serve. Then ask us what we want and listen to what everyday Australians are saying to you. |
